Milner College is so cool! I have met a lot of friendly students. Lessons are very interesting and good quality. Teachers and administration are very attentive for any questions, doubts. Perth is so perfect to live, weather, people…it’s exactly what I was searching for…. The choice of General English and Cambridge is a good mix…thanks…good advice. My homestay is the best, Mimma is so lovely…. she cooks so well. I really thank you so much for your advice, your service and especially your professionalism. It’s so rare that in transaction someone can understand you so good…. Thank you so much!

I want to thank you. I’m home now for 3 weeks and I still can’t believe how lucky I am to have lived this experience. My months in Byron Bay were literally the best ones of my life! I’ve met so many people from all around the world, discovered so many things and grown up so much. In addition to that, I’ve also really improved my English: I’ve passed the CAE! Thank you for your help to organize the trip of my life and for your advice (NOT being an au-pair was definitely the best one, I would have missed so many surf sessions!).

I needed a bespoke training in order to improve some very specific points. And I needed some advices very quick. The Language House has been able to understand very easily my needs and to choose some schools in England where teachers would be the best to help me improving my skills. He made a great job in picking up some options, giving me very precise advices, follow up the training,... Garry is really an expert to analyse the people's skills and needs and to choose in his network the best school for these people... Many friends and colleagues already told me that Garry is highly qualified, and I can just confirm that they were right: he is not only a good teacher, but a very good coach and advisor...

The training centre and staff were very professional. The private lessons were excellent and more efficient than the small group classes. You can’t expect miracles, but I felt that my English improved considerably in two weeks and I now have greater awareness of my use of English language.
The accommodation was fantastic. They really looked after me. Overall, it was a very positive experience.

The accommodation was great. I had a perfect time with the family; they made me feel at ease and showed great interest in me. I had a lot of conversations with them which helped me a lot to improve my understanding and fluency. My room was very comfortable, and I got everything I needed. The school was only 20 minutes on foot from my Homestay.
The London School of English is very comfortable and well-equipped. Everything was perfectly organised from day one. The Young Business English course helped me to improve my business English with a lot of helpful vocabulary, different topics and development situations.
The BEC Higher exam preparation course was perfectly focused on the exam which helped me to be prepared and to know exactly what I had to do on the exam day. Moreover, we did some mock exams to be properly prepared. My teachers were very friendly, highly qualified and strongly contributed to my improvement with a lot of helpful advice. The amount of homework was reasonable. To sum up, my English is improved in many ways. I will never forget my time there and the different people that I met.

I think I improved a lot my English because before I was so afraid to talk in English if someone asked me something in English. Now it’s not a problem for me to talk in English or understand a English speaker!
I took the courses 30 lessons per week in a small class with 8-12 students of different nationalities. We learned, spoke, played games, watched movies…a lot of different activities to learn English.
My homestay was a young family. Because of that we had a really good time and a lot of fun together. It was a really really good family.

My intensive two weeks of professional English courses in Canterbury was a very good strategy for me to improve my English. I was looking for a personalized training centre with private lessons and small groups and a program that related of my language level and my professional managerial needs. It was exactly that. Two intensive weeks went by very quickly. I recommend future clients do the networking activities. Not only is it good for your English, but you can discover this beautiful city and its friendly people. The CLT team is flexible and professional. I was hosted by a lovely family in a small town close to Canterbury.

I finished my trip: It was amazing. I really want to stay, I love Australia and Perth. I travelled a lot around of Perth. I went to the Pinnacles, Wave Rock, Swan Valley and lot of beaches.
The family was very nice with me. The school was great. I adored the activities with school, and I think I had a very good teacher. I think I improved my English, because before I couldn’t say something but now I can do some sentences with some mistakes. So, I have to learn more and I don’t stop to speak. And the school was great to meet people come from everywhere. Everyone was beautiful and I’ll never forget them. My friends become like a family. I miss all, my life there, my friends and my host family.

My professional skills were in demand, but my career options were limited by my lack of English communication skills. I chose The Language House as my English language partner. It has been a most rewarding and successful relationship and much more than just learning to communicate confidently and fluently in English. It has opened doors to a new culture, information, ideas, humour, literature, travel and professional relationships. The Language House has organised language courses for me in Geneva and immersion programmes in English-speaking countries. I have studied in Kensington in London, in the cathedral city of Canterbury and in the countryside of Wales. Each course has been superbly organised, and the quality of training has exceeded my expectations. However, my most enjoyable courses have been English for Lunch here in Geneva – private courses in English over lunch with The Language House director Garry Littman. I do not hesitate in recommending the services of The Language House.

Firstly, I would like to say thank you for the organization of my trip in Sydney. Everything was perfect from beginning to the end. Sydney is really a beautiful city and SELC school has a very good location. Not too far from the city centre, and just next to Bondi beach. It’s a wonderful place to practice sport and sightseeing. In addition to the location, SELC is very a good school to learn English. I met lots of different people from different countries, who I spoke to about many things and I spent my time to study and to visit that beautiful country. We had plenty of time to study hard and after the school they were lots of activities.
My target was to achieve my FCE. It wasn’t easy for me because I didn’t used to talk in English every minute but after one week it was better. The first three months I had General English and it was good for me to remember all grammar and vocabulary I needed for my preparation of my exam. I worked hard to have the good level. Of course, sometimes General English was a little boring because it depended on student’s motivation, but it was necessary if I wanted to improve my English. I then did the FCE preparation course and I really enjoyed working faster and harder. My classmates were younger than me and we had lots of fun together. We had good teachers, who gave us the desire to learn. After ten weeks hardworking I passed my FCE. I’m so happy because I improved so much in five and a half months. I will never forget my trip in Sydney and in Australia. You helped me to have a good start. I really appreciate your help and your availability.

I am delighted with my stay at Worcester. Lessons are very interesting. I have this week a one-to-one lesson with Jill. She thinks I have a good basis in English but with my strong French accent it is difficult to understand me. She teaches me sentence stress, weak forms, linking sounds etc….
My homestay family is friendly and kind. I am treated like a spoiled child. Sandra is a good cook and Don cooks some delicious eggs for the breakfast (scrambled, poached, fried…).
I went to Birmingham (just before riots and lootings), Bath and Oxford. Next Saturday I am going to Bristol.

My time in London was well worth it. I sense a big difference in my confidence and fluency in English. I can explain myself better in presentations and meetings without having to think too much about my language. The teachers were excellent. I had small group courses with between 3 and 5 participants and also private lessons. I also visited the London Stock Exchange, Metals Exchange and new Docklands with my private teacher. My Executive Homestay family was very friendly and close to the school. Overall it was a successful and rewarding experience. My thanks to The Language House for the choice and organisation of this training course.

The training centre was very professional and the teachers very interesting. I was impressed by their wide culture and knowledge. It was possible to talk about sports, politics, entertainment, travel, music, theatre, and a lot of different other things. The one-to-one lessons were good but very hard. It was not possible to have a bit of rest. There is pressure on you to speak and think in English at every moment, every day! The mix of small group courses and private training was a good combination. My Executive Homestay family was friendly and welcoming. I had contact in the morning for breakfast, in the evening for dinner three times a week and sometimes in the weekend. I would like to thank The Language House for the good organisation and if I need more information about language training I won’t hesitate to call you.

I started my Cambridge course 4 weeks ago. The teachers are very good and it’s a good way to improve my English. We have homework to do everyday, but we also have time to enjoy Australia in the weekend! I really love Perth! The city in not too big, so it’s pretty quiet and everybody is very friendly. There are a lot of things to do and to visit and many places to go out at night!! The weather is also very nice and the beaches around are beautiful. I went to Rottnest Island a few weeks ago. I have to apologize for the card I haven't sent yet...but I enjoy so much Australia that I forgot about it!!! So I thought mailing you was a good way to tell you sorry but also to give you some news about me.... My FCE courses was really good, I met a lot of people, and I had good time with them...and two weeks ago was the final exam...I think I did well but, it was more difficult than in class but not impossible...so now I think my English is quite good...I understand people when they're speaking together, and even if my grammar is not good every time when I answer, I think it's quite okay!!!
My host family is really great, like a second family, they're so nice, and I've a lot in common with one of the daughters, who is 30, but she's like a big sister...so yes, I love this family, and I'd like to stay here longer, but I miss my family also...
Today I began my CAE courses, it's much more difficult than FCE, but I'll work more and more to pass the exam, because I'd like to come back with the feeling that I'd completed all my goals...it will be great...
Last week I went to Sydney to visit a friend from my village, it was wonderful...this city is amazing so big in comparison with Perth...I walked around the city and the beaches...but I prefer Perth, because in Sydney there is all the nationalities except Australian people...and there is a lot of tourist and French speakers, so Perth is the city which suits me the best...so thank you for your good choice.

What a great time in Byron Bay! To spend a few months in this little town is like a dream. The school is pretty small and friendly, with good and funny teachers. It's really easy to meet many good people and the parties are great. The town is surrounded by beaches and you'll find everything you like: surfing, sun-bathing, swimming, whale-watching, beach BBQs ,etc. They are so many fun activities that the most difficult it's to find enough time to learn. But no worries, here it's learning by living... and it works! Great time, great places and great people... All what I need. Now I'm back, but I'm looking forward to go another time down under.

Life in Australia is absolutely breathtaking. The school proposes a lot of activities which are just incredible. For example, you can reserve skydiving for a very reasonable price. I really would like to try but I'm hesitating because of my fear of heights... Apart from that, I have recently been to Jervis Bay with my friends and we rented a beautiful house there. Honestly, I will never forget this wonderful experience :) The nature was so pristine and the sunset... always amazing! Concerning my homestay, I found out a very welcoming family, always thoughtful and suitable to help me if I had any questions. I am very proud to studying in Cambridge class. Obviously, it was quite difficult at the beginning but now I noticed a big progression of my accuracy. Finally, I’m supposed to obtain my first certificate in two weeks. Regarding my results during the practice exams, I feel very confident for the following days:) To sum up, I would tell those who are hesitating to go to Australia that the life is much more relaxing here than in Switzerland. I didn't regret to go in the kangaroo country although I haven't seen them still. Thanks for everything!!!!!!!

Life is good in Australia! I am still discovering this beautiful country and its open-minded culture. Next Monday I will start the CAE course! I am very excited, and I hope to have enough knowledge in English to take this course. I wish you a beautiful day! Take care.
