Brisbane, the capital of Queensland, is one of the fastest-growing cities in Australia. It is often voted among the top 10 most liveable cities in the world. It has a population of two million. It is built on the mouth of the Brisbane River that twists and turns through the city. Magnificent beaches, tropical islands, rainforests, coral reefs, vast unpopulated desert areas are all within travelling distance. The climate has a slight tropical feel – warm to hot, with mild winters. Brisbane is close to the famous beaches of the Gold Coast, the rainforest as well as some of the largest themes parks in Australia. Brisbane is a bicycle-friendly city with 30 kilometres of bike routes along the river. Many of our student ride their bikes to school.

Langports College Brisbane

Langports’ Brisbane campus is a three level, modern building - one of the largest private campuses in the city. The school is in the centre of city next to Roma Street Station. It is a very popular school with excellent facilities and a reputed academic programme. Langports College also has campuses on the Gold Coast and Sydney. It is a family run business. Owner John France is a highly respected figure in the English language training industry. Feedback from our students is always excellent. The school has won numerous international awards as the ‘best language school in Australia’. The school’s motto is Learn Love Live. That sounds pretty cool, doesn’t it?

The campus is in the centre of the city—a 10-minute walk to the shopping district—and is surrounded by shops, cafes and fast food outlets but is also close to parks and the Botanical Gardens.

It is a two-minute walk from Roma Street train station, a 10-minute walk from Central station or you can take the ferry on the Brisbane River. The ferry terminal is a 10-minute walk from the school. Or you can ride your bike to school.
